LOOK OF THE DAY: she's in love with the world

(dress - H&M; belt - ZARA; sandals - ALDO; hat - H&M)

SO. My fifteen page statistics paper is due tomorrow, my final exam is on Wednesday - June 1st! ;) - and then I fly away! Though everyone enjoys a creepy, dark alley on occasion, the beach is calling to me. I imagine that shortly after I touch down in Vancouver I'll ferry over to Victoria to see Natalie. We're thinking of doing a shoot together for our new summer header. This week is also Ad Idem's two year anniversary! CRAZY!

LOOK OF THE DAY: careless in our summer clothes

(cropped top - H&M; high waisted shorts - DIY; glasses - H&M; wedges - ALDO)

HELLO! I don't know if you can tell, but it is GORGEOUS in Montreal today. The perfect afternoon for playing on the jungle-gym near my apartment! I miss being eight years old and doing back flips off the monkey bars.

Go outside and soak up the sun!

LOOK OF THE NIGHT: one night to be confused; one night to speed up truth

It's a beautiful summer day today. The sky is a perfect blue and it's so warm out! I'm going to a park with a few friends soon to enjoy it, but I thought I'd post these first! Though night time lighting is never ideal for a detailed shoot, I love how they turned out.

Today makes it just two weeks until I head home to Vancouver. I can't believe I won't be back for three months! :)

on to the next one.

Love sheer, need to wear my own sheer maxi-skirt more often!

Those JC LITAs are stunning!

The dark brow is a favourite trend of mine right now.

This mustard-yellow jacket is great for Spring.

Beautiful choker! Christine Centenera is always perfectly styled, of course.

Amazing Jacket.

Wide-leg trousers are not worn often enough!

And a boy! The glove he's wearing is perfect, especially because its worn with such a relaxed outfit.

Hey guys! I know it's been a bit since I last posted, but here I am! No, I didn't die - I've just been very busy with summer studies and trying to find a subletter for my apartment. Also, my photographer left town for a few weeks so I haven't been able to do a shoot! I'm flying back to Vancouver for three months on June 4th. Though it's always sad to leave MTL, I'm looking forward to being reunited with family, friends and of course, Natalie! We're hoping to do some Vancouver Street Style while I'm back in the west for both the Vancouver Sun and Ad Idem. We'll also probably be able to attend a few fashion events in the city while I'm home - something we haven't been able to do together yet! Okay, it's time to get ready to go out! Have a good night. :)

DENIS GAGNON. boutique launch party

So last night I attended the launch party for the new Denis Gagnon Boutique in Old Montreal, bringing Lindsay along as my plus one. It was so much fun, and I finally met the man himself! Ever since his awe-inspiring show at Montreal Fashion Week in February, I've been longing for such an opportunity! Fashion events are so funny because I feel like half the time we just show up to mingle, drink fancy wine and have our photos taken. I was sorely tempted to buy the leather shorts pictured above. As you all know by now, I've fallen in love with colour blocking for Spring so I wore a pair of neon orange trousers and a violet blouse to the soirée. Everyone else? Yeah, they were all wearing black and neutrals!
